Proposed Scheme

The scheme will provide approximately 150 new homes, 40% (approximately 60) of which will be affordable. The scheme will provide a mix of housing types and sizes.

In addition to new homes, the scheme will provide significant landscaping and open space, including multiple areas for children’s play, play on the way and informal open space provision for existing and proposed residents to enjoy.

Sustainable Travel

The scheme is within a highly sustainable location, close to facilities and services and within a 10-minute walk of the village centre.

The scheme has been designed to prioritise trips by cyclists and pedestrians over car based trips, to encourage future residents to walk and cycle by incorporating the following:

  • A new segregated footway and cycleway, each measuring 2m.
  • A network of sustainable and leisure routes through the scheme providing improved and safer connections to existing footways, including to the eastern boundary and St Neots Road.
  • Opportunity for potential future connection to the Cambourne to Cambridge transport scheme.
